·         Saturday, August 13 to Saturday, August 20,

10:00 am - midnight

General Admission: $10, Children 11 & under are FREE (Free same day re-admission, get your hand stamped at the gate before departing)

Parking: $5 per car at the fairgrounds

 

FREE parking and shuttle bus service from Lakeforest Mall, located at Lost Knife Rd. and Odenhal Ave.

ADMISSION DISCOUNTS

Senior Day - Tuesday, August 16 – Free admission for ages 62 and over from 10 am to 5 pm

Military Day - Thursday, August 18 – Free admission for active military in uniform or with a valid military ID from 10 am to 5 pm.

There is an abundance of 4-H, livestock and exhibits on display at the fair.

The Birthing Center - check-in frequently to see if a calf is on its way or taking its first steps.

The Milking Parlor - where you can Milk a Cow by hand for $1, on various days and times.*

The Fair has many interesting displays and demonstrations, such as:

·         Farm & Garden in Bldg. #2

Animal shows are held in our Cattle, Swine, and Sheep & Goat Pavilions on various days and times.*

Horse events are held in the Horse Arena on various days and times*

 

ANIMALS

Old MacDonald’s Barn exhibits  and teaches about many different animals. (This barn is open August 12)

The Barns display all types and breeds of various animals, such as:

·         Cows

·         Goats

·         Horses

·         Pigs

·         Poultry

·         Rabbits

·         Sheep

·         and sometimes babies too

(These barn displays do not open until Sunday, August 14)

 There are many contests you may participate in for free or with a low entry fee, such as:

·         Flower Arranging

·         Veggie Races

·         Hermit Crab Races

·         Cheese Carving
